🇬🇧 English
1. Why is music so important to you?
It hasn't been for a while. Like most things, you need to take a break- but I think it helps me with anxiety and other stuff, and it can be fun. It's also influential in making and maintaining new relationships everywhere- it helps to connect with like-minded people.
2. What has been your most touching moment you have experienced as a DJ?
My first drink ticket, the first time I didn't have to pay for anything. That was cool
3. Your favorite track of all time and why?
There are no favorite tracks- it's a combination of different genres and tracks that you fall in love with, you can't just pick one for all time.
4. What is your perfect idea of happiness?
Family. Being in the studio with my lovely wife, being around our bunnies and kitties. Also, eating food with my friends- I love that.
5. What do you think about the techno scene nowadays?
People seem mostly interested in image these days, and they don't care too much about anything else- music comes second. I also think the politics surrounding music sometimes takes precedence over the art. Sometimes it's useful for a good cause, but sometimes it is distracting and divisive. People aren't confronting the problem.
They are just shutting themselves or others off. Up and comers or anyone with interest in becoming an artist is this idea that because (insert big name here) composes, engineers and masters all of his/her music, they should have to as well. That is not the case. A violinist can play the violin but not have a single clue on anything else after. It's ok to be good at one thing and not the other.
People laugh at the idea of a ghost producer that hides in the shadows and cranks out music for lazy fucks, but the truth is that some DJs are great at being selectors. That's it. Maybe, those blobs of meat have great ideas to lay down, and they don't necessarily hear what a seasoned producer or engineer does and will never get the same results, or they don't have to.
Music is about imagination and experimentation, stick to that, and if it does not sound right, maybe it's not what you recorded. It's ok to have help. Perhaps through these processes, you will find other neat skills. I mean, yeah, I get it. Some people would rather pay someone to do it all. WHO CARES!! That's bullshit that doesn't affect you or anyone else. This industry is a black hole of negativity and confusing standards. Put all that aside and make the music, release it, and don't worry about the outcome. I bet there is one fan or two for every song out there. Bad or good.

4. Was ist deine perfekte Vorstellung von Glück?
Familie.

Malo o bueno
